Measure the stand first
Check your stand at its widest point against the top opening: 15.75 in on Small, 19.69 in on Large.
Turn the seam back
After clasping, rotate the collar so the vertical seam faces the wall. The weave then looks continuous from the room.
Dust before you decorate
Run a dry brush between the strands before setting it out, and again before it goes back into storage.

Do I have to take the tree down to install it?
No. The collar opens at a vertical seam that runs its full height. Wrap it around the base of an assembled tree, close the seam, and secure the clasp at the top rim.
Does it come with ornaments or greenery?
No. It's a plain woven ring. The tree, lights, ornaments, furniture and flooring shown in the photos aren't included — you receive the collar only, in the size and color you select.
Is it real rattan or wicker?
No. It's PE (polyethylene) imitation rattan: flat plastic strands woven over vertical ribs. You get the basket-weave look without splinters or shedding, and each strand carries a slight sheen.
How do I clean and store it?
Wipe the weave with a damp cloth and dry it before storing. Dust between the strands with a dry brush or vacuum brush attachment. Store indoors, upright or nested, with nothing heavy on top.
Can I use it outdoors or near a fireplace?
It's intended for indoor use — the supplier gives no outdoor or weather rating. Keep it away from open flames, heaters and candles, and don't use it as a water tray for a live tree.
